My Great-grandmother, Eddie Mae Croster, had a saying,
“If you can’t be the best, be among the best.”
That statement set the foundation for our family before my family even knew it. Now don’t be deceived not every member of the Croster decendence follows this maxim. A good deal of us do, and those who don’t, well their lives reflect that. What I’ve found so beautiful about her saying is that it Sets you up for success in every arena of life. You don’t fear failure but you don’t accept it either, you thrive to exceed the expectations of the Standard setters. In turn setting the Standard.
If you claim to be Baller it’s simple, either be the best or Be among the best in everything you do. Bottom line. Until Next time this has been a fireside chat with N. A. Jones
